Augustów and its surroundings through the lens of the German war correspondent Alfred Kühlewindt (1870 - 1945). Pictures taken in the winter and spring of 1915. Most of them were printed in the form of postcards, which front soldiers sent to their relatives. This can be seen in some of the reproductions.
