On July 13, the Catholic Church celebrates the memory of Bl. Marianna Biernacka, who gave her life in exchange for saving the pregnant daughter-in-law. She is the patron of mothers-in-law, women who ask for the grace of motherhood pray through her intercession. Marianna Biernacka was born in 1888 in Lipsk on the Biebrza, in today's diocese of Ełk and Augustów poviat. She was shot on July 13, 1943 in forts near the village of Naumowicze near Grodno.
This booklet is a collection of six poems and two stories dedicated to Marianna Biernacka (1888-1943). Some of these works were awarded in the National Literary Competition under the slogan "Blessed from Lipsk on the Biebrza".
