Jan Noruk and firefighters from Jaziewo

Jan Noruk (31.07.1895-27.02.1973). Apparently quite overbearing. He ruled at home with a hard hand. According to family relations, he was Piłsudski supporter and a member of the POW organization. Firefighter and social activist. He ran the library in Jaziewo. He had 7 classes completed, which was significant at the time, and as a member of the POW he was able to "educate his children free of charge" in interwar Poland, which, unfortunately, was impossible due to another war. He died in 1973, and for the first time in the post-war years, as my Mother Norberta nee Orbik told me, at his funeral the pre-war banners of the fire brigade in Jaziewo were exposed.
