Karpowicze - a village in the Dolistowo parish formerly called Brzozowa in the estates of JM Karpiowa with its own church. In the 17th century, the following villages belonged to this parish: Jasionowo, Kopytkowo, Polkowo and Jagłowo, and also very likely that Mogilice aka Mogilia and Budy na Gradach (now a non-existent village in the very center of the Biebrza National Park). Our protoplasts and foresters who once settled in our parishes came from those villages, among others.
